Welcome to the AITI-KACE Open Source Resource Centre (KOReC), a centre established with the mandate to promote the use of open source software solutions and tools in Ghana and the ECOWAS sub-region. KOReC seeks to make Ghana and the ECOWAS sub-region harness all the benefits that open source has to offer as well as make Ghana a main player in the ongoing research in open source. KOReC serves as an open source repository and resource center for government and public sector entities, Small-Medium Enterprises(SMEs) and the Educational Institutions.

The KOReC serve as hosting venue and collaborative development environment for open source software programmes, applications, tools and components that are relevant to, and/or can be utilise by government, SMEs and educational institutions. In addtion, the KOReC serve as a coordinating body for development, customization, maintenance and support services for open source solutions and consultancy.
